Contract Administration & Legal

Contract administration is the management of contracts made with customers, vendors, partners, or employees. It refers to the management of all actions after the award of a contract. This is to assure that terms of a contract are complied with. For example, timely delivery, acceptance, payment, and closing contract. Contract administration includes all dealings between parties to a contract from the time a contract is awarded until the work has been completed and accepted or the contract terminated, payment has been made, and disputes have been resolved.

Major objective of contract administration is obtaining supplies and services of required quantity, within a required time and budget. Contract administration is an alternative term for contract management.

MPC do manage all commercial contracts of the business in accordance to local and international Law and regulations

Role & Responsibility

  • To Manage, review and monitor commercial exclusive and non-exclusive distributor contracts with multinational principal companies.
  • To participate in negotiation process with business team members and support in developing legal solution for the business.
  • To manage agency, register and ensure all processes are completed on registering agencies with local authority.
  • Advise team concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
  • Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Present and summarize cases to authorized legal firms.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, contractual and commercial agreement.
  • Prepare legal briefs and opinions.
  • Negotiate settlements of civil disputes for all local customers legal case.
  • Collaborates with other departments (e.g. risk management, internal audit, employee services, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
  • Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk: develop/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance and solution to mitigate such risks.
